Richard J. Wilson Richard J. Wilson, age 84, of Erie, formerly of Millcreek Twp., died Friday, August 12, 2011, at the Erie Veteran's Affairs Medical Center. He was born in Erie on March 14, 1927, the son of the late, Bronislaw and Frances Walenska Wisniewski. He graduated from Cathedral Prep and Gannon University. He served in the US Navy during WWII stationed out of Fort Pierce, FL. He was employed at White Consolidated Industries in the accounting department. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, and enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping, philanthropy, outdoor activities, and was very social. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Nehr Wilson, in 2003, and one daughter, Ann Frances Wilson McKown. He is survived by two sons; Paul Wilson (Sherri) of Minturn, CO, John Wilson of Cottonport, LA, two brothers, Ronald and Thomas Wilson, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 until time of service there at 8:00 p.m. conducted by the Very Rev. Theodore Marconi. Private interment. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater PA, 1128 State St, #301, Erie, PA 16501.
