Diana "Di" Montagna Diana "Di" L. Murnighan Montagna, age 43, of Millcreek passed away after an extended illness on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at her residence with her family at her side. She was born in Baltimore, MD on May 19, 1963, the daughter of Patricia Garry Murnighan of Meadville and the late James Murnighan. She graduated from Hiram College in 1986. She was employed in the health care field. Diana was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church, and enjoyed taking care of her plants and flowers, and she designed and made Christmas wreaths, which she gave to family and friends. Besides her mother, her husband, Luigi P. Montagna, two children, Domenico and Francesca Montagna at home, one sister, Donna Murnighan of Meadville, and her maternal grandmother, Mary Garry of Meadville, survive her. Nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by one uncle, Jack Murnighan. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Monday at 9:30 a.m. for a prayer service followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment gate of Heaven. Memorial contributions may be made to the Regional Cancer Center, 2500 West 12th. St. Erie, PA 16505.
