Louella M. Abbott McKervey Matson Louella M. Matson, age 87, of Summit Twp. died Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Millcreek Community Hospital. She was born on February 27, 1921 in Kane, PA, daughter of the late Arthur and Lena Abbott. She attended All-Saints Parish. She retired from the Aviation Club as a cook. She also worked at W.T. Grant Co., G.C. Murphy, and Lovelle Mfg. Co. A brother, Raymond Abbott, preceded her in death. Her beloved husband, Norbert Matson of 36 years survives her. Also surviving are two daughters, Judy Wennerstrom and her husband, Richard, of Port Allegheny, PA, Joyce Barr and her husband, James, of Roulette, PA, two sons Gary McKervey and his wife, Peggy, of Port Allegheny, Kenneth McKervey, of Wichita, KS, two sisters Dawn Lewis and her husband, Lavern, and Evelyn Holp and her husband, Michael. Ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, three stepchildren: Jack, Scott, and Debrah Matson San Diego, CA, and many step grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Tuesday for the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
