Obituary of Joseph "Joe" Yarrington

Joseph “Joe” Yarrington Joseph (Joe) Yarrington, 63, succumbed to his battle with esophageal cancer on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Fairview Manor surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents Norie Rearick, William Hornyak, & Bruce Yarrington; & his eldest sister Kathleen. He is survived by his loving daughters: Becky Berigan (Bill Malm) & Beth Ann Yarrington; his amazing grandchildren: Brett Berigan (Kathleen Junk), Sirena & Jordan McFadden, Alexis & David Ogle; and his great-grandchildren Charlotte & Adelina Berigan; his devoted brothers; William Yarrington (Darlene) and George Yarrington; and his caring sister Tammy Dickerson (Darell). Joe has a special place in the hearts of his many nephews, nieces, cousins, & other close family & friends. Joe was known for being humble, an intellect, a nature enthusiast, philosophical, holistic & creative. He was passionate about bicycling, collecting art, wrenching on cars, and electrical work & landscaping. Joe's ambitions earned him the nickname of "Fairview Man" for living off grid in the woods in Fairview, PA over a decade. In accordance with his wishes; there will only be a small private family gathering for remembrance. Arrangements by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. The family asks donations to be sent to Aseracare Hospice or Schizophrenia International Research Society.
