Obituary of Tyler James Stazer

Tyler James Stazer Tyler James Stazer, age 34, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at his home in Jeffersonville, IN. He was born on August 23, 1989, the son of Jay Stazer and the late Debra Kaliszewski (Spierling). Tyler grew up in Erie where he attended Villa Maria Academy graduating in 2008. After high school, Tyler joined the Navy and lived in VA until 2014. He received numerous certificates while in the Navy. Tyler attended Penn State Behrend where he received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology, graduating in 2019. Tyler enjoyed riding his motorcycle any chance he got. He had a love for gardening which he got from his mother. Tyler was very handy and was always building something. He enjoyed traveling and exploring new places. He loved and spoiled two cats; Olive and Jade, as if they were his children. Tyler was always the life of every party and would give anyone the shirt off his back never asking for it to be returned. He had a sense of humor unmatched by any other person and could make anyone smile; even on their worst day. He lived his life to the fullest and made sure to always go after what he wanted. He could make friends anywhere he went and had a personality people would gravitate towards. Tyler truly was one of the best. Tyler is survived by his father Jay Stazer of Jeffersonville, IN, two sisters; Miranda Stazer and Alexandrea Kaliszewski both of Erie, uncle to Amelia Kaliszewski, Skyler Stazer, and Aiden Stazer, all of Erie. He is further survived by his grandparents William and Andrea Spierling, both of Erie, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Debra Kaliszewski (Spierling), his cousin and best friend Jeremy Spierling, cousin Adam Farren, grandmother Betty Stazer, great-grandparents Helen and Steve Protyniak, and his great aunts Elaine Protyniak, Janet Shoop, and Carol Perry. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 3 pm until the time of memorial service at 7 pm. Private interment
