Obituary of David Edward Sarra

David Edward Sarra David Edward Sarra of McKean, PA passed away at age 74, surrounded by his loving family at his home on Monday, August 14, 2023, after a long period of declining health. Dave was born in Butler, PA on July 16, 1949. He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Costa and his adoptive father, Jim Sarra. Dave was a skilled welder for over 35 years until his retirement. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, his two yellow labs, and watching the Steelers play football. He is survived by his wife Rosemary Sarra, his daughters; Kimberly McGahen (Danny) and Nicki Halford (Rob), his sisters; Rita Sarra and Marie Velez (Joe) and his grandchildren; Ethan and Harper McGahen. His friends and family are invited to gather in fond memory of Dave and in celebration of his life, and his return to Jesus on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at McLane Church-Edinboro, 12511 Edinboro Road, Edinboro, PA 16412. The viewing will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a Service at 12 Noon. Private interment. Optional Steelers attire is welcome. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
