Obituary of Catherine Linder Heidler

Catherine “Kay” Linder Heidler Catherine “Kay” Linder Heidler, age 92, of Fairview Twp., passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 due to a period of declining health surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Titusville, PA on September 1, 1930, the daughter of the late Eugene and Ida Gustafson Linder. Before she was married, she had been employed at G.C. Murphy in Titusville. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and its Joy Ringers. Kay enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting, and spending time with her family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Thomas “Tom” M. Heidler, one sister Norma and brother-in-law Wayne Cubbon, and one nephew, Boyd Cubbon. She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Heidler Shaut (David) of Cranesville, three grandchildren; Sheryl Dubinski (Bill) of Cranesville, Brian Shaut (girlfriend, Tammy) of Cranesville, Daniel Shaut of Fairview, five great-grandchildren: Dustin, Dylan, Kaylie Dubinski, Kenna and Tenor Shaut, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 4 pm until the time of the Funeral Service there at 7 p.m. Private interment Sterrettania Cemetery.
