Obituary of William James Bell

William “Bill” James Bell William “Bill” James Bell, age 67, of Erie, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 23, 2021, surrounded by his beloved family. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 3, 1954, the son of the late James and Pearl (Zerbe) Bell. Bill worked for National Fab & Machine in North East, PA for many years before retiring from the Erie Golf Course. Our favorite Mr. Fix-it Man enjoyed fishing and kayaking with his wife of 40 years. Bill liked camping and shared this love with his family. One of Bill’s greatest joys in life was riding his ‘87 Harley Davidson Sportster. He was often seen either riding solo or with his two good friends. The nightly news and forecast were a ritual he seldom missed. Bill had to know what the next day would bring: hopefully nice weather for the ride ahead. We hope you are enjoying many rides and finally make it to 55,000 miles! Bill is survived by his wife, Carla (Figurski) Bell, and four children, Ryan Bell, Megan Duckett and husband Eric, Nicole Tuznik and husband Stan, and Nathan Bell. He also leaves behind Elijah James, his precious grandchild. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and are invited to the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Private interment.
