Obituary of Maxine R. Stright

Another member of the "greatest generation", Maxine Stright, has departed this world to be reunited in paradise with the 70-year love of her life, Russ. Surrounded by the family she was totally devoted to and in the home that she loved, Maxine, at the age of 95, took her last breath on Friday, October 15, 2021 after a brief illness.
Maxine was born in Franklin, PA on May 30, 1926 to Lawrence and Rella (Reynolds) Reagle. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William R, Stright and three brothers Paul, Cecil and Harold Reagle. She is survived by her five children, Carol Byler, Linda Stright, William (Carolyn) Stright, Ellen (Tom) Plowman) and Donna Stright, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Maxine worked as a registered nurse in the emergency room of Hamot Hospital for 35 years. She resided in Erie 70 years and was a long-time member of Kingsley Methodist Church.
Many thanks to her Kingsley family, especially her "gal pals" whose friendship and companionship she highly enjoyed, valued and cherished.
Funeral services are private and are being held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory Inc, 4216 Sterrettania Rd, Erie, PA 16506
Per her request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Tunnel2Towers, or Wounded Warriors.
