Obituary of Jocelyn A. Higgins

Jocelyn A. Higgins Jocelyn A. Higgins, 88, died Saturday, September 11, 2021, in Goshen, NY. She was born in Springboro, PA on April 28, 1933. She worked as a nurse at the Erie Infants Home, then Rusterholtz Bakery, and then a clerk at Gospel Book and Supply Center on West 12th St. for over 30 years. She was a member of First Alliance Church for 60 years and served as Sunday School Superintendent and the head of the Seniors Ministry. She loved music and was an avid listener of the Gaither Vocal Band. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 yrs., Joseph R. Higgins and her two sisters, Marilyn Zellis and Linda Pease. Survivors include her children, Shawn O. Higgins and his wife, Laura Lee; Holly J. Musser and her husband, William; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dusckas- Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd., Erie, PA 16506, Friday, September 17, 2021 from 11-1pm, when a service will begin, officiated by Rev. Ben DiStefano. Burial will be private.
