Obituary of Mary Faith Wilson

Mary Faith (Felix) Wilson, age 81, of Millcreek Twp., died on May 3, 2018.  Mary was born in McKean, PA on June 16, 1936, the daughter and youngest child of the late Bernard and Margaret (Bayer) Felix.  She was the beloved wife of James E. Wilson whom she married in 1955. 

Mary was a member of the FIRST class to graduate from St George grade school in 1949 and the LAST class to graduate from Millcreek High School in 1953.   She worked as a bookkeeper prior to her marriage and later years as a Nurses Aid for Medical Personnel Pool of Erie and the Villa Maria Infirmary. 

Her first love was taking care of her home, husband and family and in her leisure time she enjoyed music and literature.

Mary is survived by her husband James and four devoted children: Deborah L. Kiefer (Albert), Ohio; James B. Wilson, Massachusetts; Todd M. Wilson (Nancy), Erie; and Cheryl L. Wilson, Saegertown. She is also survived by eight cherished grandchildren, Michelle, Albert, John- Paul, Allison, Emily, Todd Jr., Christian and Alexandria, and eight great-grandchildren, Carter, Caitlynn, Carys, Max, Molly, Milo, Juliana and Norah, and one brother Harold (Bud) Felix and many nieces and nephews. She shared a special bond with her niece Colleen (Kitty) Felix Welton. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son; two brothers Donald O. Felix and Joseph C. Felix and six sisters Agatha M. Brugger, Jean L. O’hara, Lois R. Royer, Margaret R. Szoszorek, Doris I. Cessna, and Carol R. Kosobucki.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd, Erie, PA 16506, on Monday May 7, 2018, from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 7:00 PM.  Private interment.  

Mary leaves us with this thought, “In spite of life’s trial and tribulations, I had a WONDERFUL life!”
